Please do not conflate different issues. FTBFS is most likely caused by the change in -dev package soname symlinks with historic deprecated ones removed, and only cross-distro/os/upstream ones remaining. I.e. one must link explicitly against boost_pythonXY from now on. -- Regards, Dimitri.
