It's not empty, but processes for dd_e and dd_r are considered somewhat
special by the system and require one to either be the person interested
by that process, or FD.
Should indeed probably not show those link in those cases either, (the
403 Forbidden is the correct HTTP code), and I don't know why it let you
download an empty file instead.
