Source: wlroots
Version: 0.8.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi Guido,

would you mind uploading wlroots to unstable? I'm aware of the fact that
upstream doesn't consider the ABI interface stable yet, but since they nowadays
bump the soname when releasing a new version[1], I don't see a reason to not
have wlroots in unstable.

A major advantage of having wlroots in unstable and testing would be that we
could provide backports of sway window manager packages to buster-backports. I
know of several people (including myself) who run sway on Buster by manually
building backported packages (or by compiling manually) and those users would
benefit from sway backports in my eyes.

Kind regards
 jonas
