Package: dh-make Version: 2.201802 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
dh-make for debian stable is overwriting existing files when used with the -a option. I've created the debian directory with "dh_make", then editied some files, deleted a .ex template, later considered to re-add one of the deleted .ex tamples with "dh_make -a", then all of my previous work has vanished -- all files were overwritten even if dh_makes says: "File xxx exists, skipping" -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages dh-make depends on: ii debhelper 12.1.1 ii dpkg-dev 1.19.7 ii make 4.2.1-1.2 ii python3 3.7.3-1 dh-make recommends no packages.
