tags 950402 +patch thanks This build failure is fixed by upstream commit faaa552de9ec099184d131c08b76ae0b1ce4f5ec , I adapted it to apply to the debian package and was able to sucessfully build the patched package in a raspbian bullseye-staging environment.
I have uploaded the fixed package to raspbian, a debdiff should appear soon at https://debdiffs.raspbian.org/main/p/pinot No intent to NMU in debian.
