Package: irssi-scripts Version: 20181120 Severity: wishlist irssi-scripts in Debian is fairly old. since 2018, a lot of things happened in that repository, and it seems a *lot* of scripts present on scripts.irssi.org are not present in the Debian package.
for example, I was particularly looking for the `go2.pl` script and while it's been on scripts.irssi.org since the beginning (or at least since the git import in 2014), it's not in the Debian package. it seems the current debian package is based on the old scripts.irssi.org website, with only *some* of the scripts from the website present. but nowadays (since 2014) the upstream site is a static site generated from a git repository, which the debian package, in my opinion, should be based on. would that make sense? thanks! -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.2 APT prefers stable-debug APT policy: (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages irssi-scripts depends on: ii irssi 1.2.0-2 ii perl 5.28.1-6 Versions of packages irssi-scripts recommends: ii libwww-perl 6.36-2 ii sensible-utils 0.0.12 Versions of packages irssi-scripts suggests: ii chromium [www-browser] 79.0.3945.130-1~deb10u1 ii epiphany-browser [www-browser] 3.32.1.2-3~deb10u1 ii firefox-esr [www-browser] 68.4.1esr-1~deb10u1 ii libdbi-perl 1.642-1+b1 ii lynx [www-browser] 2.8.9rel.1-3 ii net-tools 1.60+git20180626.aebd88e-1 ii w3m [www-browser] 0.5.3-37 -- no debconf information
