Package: file-roller Version: 3.36.0-1 For a week now I've been unable to start file-roller. There have been a few upgrades in the last few days, but this error persists. Here's what I get when I start file-roller from the terminal:
> $ file-roller > file-roller: symbol lookup error: file-roller: undefined symbol: > archive_write_add_filter_zstd This error seems to be related to libarchive, but I wasn't sure if I should report this against it, or file-roller. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages file-roller depends on: ii bzip2 1.0.8-2 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.34.0-2 ii libarchive13 3.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.29-10 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-4 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.40.0+dfsg-3 ii libglib2.0-0 2.62.5-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.14-1 ii libjson-glib-1.0-0 1.4.4-2 ii libnautilus-extension1a 3.34.1-1 ii libnotify4 0.7.9-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.42.4-8 ii p7zip-full 16.02+dfsg-7 Versions of packages file-roller recommends: ii gvfs 1.44.0-1 ii yelp 3.34.0-1 Versions of packages file-roller suggests: ii arj 3.10.22-23 pn lha <none> pn lzip <none> ii lzop 1.04-1 pn ncompress <none> pn rpm2cpio <none> ii rzip 2.1-4.1 pn sharutils <none> pn squashfs-tools <none> ii unace 1.2b-18 ii unalz 0.65-7 pn unar <none> ii unzip 6.0-25 ii xz-utils [lzma] 5.2.4-1+b1 ii zip 3.0-11+b1 ii zoo 2.10-28 -- no debconf information
