Package: abcde Version: 2.9.3-1 Severity: important I encountered this issue when ripping "Simple Minds Live - In the city of lights" which consists of 2 CDs. On the first CD rip, it creates Live_in_the_City_of_Light.flac. On the second CD rip, it simply overwrites that file (without asking/confirming).
The command I used was "abcde -1 -o flac -a default, cue". If you add "-W 1" (or "-W 2"), then it updates the metadata of the file, but not the filename itself. I think this can be fixed if you add "_cdX", where 'X' is the "-W" parameter value, to the filename (and update the .cue file accordingly). -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages abcde depends on: ii cd-discid 1.4-1+b1 ii cdparanoia 3.10.2+debian-13 ii flac 1.3.2-3 ii libmusicbrainz-discid-perl 0.04-1+b1 ii libwebservice-musicbrainz-perl 1.0.4-2 ii sensible-utils 0.0.12 ii vorbis-tools 1.4.0-11 ii wget 1.20.1-1.1 Versions of packages abcde recommends: ii bsd-mailx 8.1.2-0.20180807cvs-1 ii glyrc 1.0.10-1 ii imagemagick 8:6.9.10.23+dfsg-2.1 ii imagemagick-6.q16 [imagemagick] 8:6.9.10.23+dfsg-2.1 ii perl [libdigest-sha-perl] 5.28.1-6 ii vorbis-tools 1.4.0-11 Versions of packages abcde suggests: pn atomicparsley <none> pn distmp3 <none> ii eject 2.1.5+deb1+cvs20081104-13.2 ii eyed3 0.8.8-1 pn id3 <none> pn id3v2 <none> ii mkcue 1-6 pn mp3gain <none> ii normalize-audio 0.7.7-15 pn vorbisgain <none> -- no debconf information
