Source: request-tracker4 Version: 4.4.3-2 Severity: normal Hi Dominic,
We're running into a few minor issues with RT 4.4.3. In particular, we're looking at migrating from MySQL/MariaDB to PostgreSQL for a number of reasons, and the export/import process has some issues fixed in 4.4.4. More specifically, we need the 'reset-sequences' script[1] and a fix for transferring UTF-8 strings correctly to PostgreSQL[2]. 1. https://github.com/bestpractical/rt/commit/0546b38ca0fdc998c70fb725066e1ce322ec078b 2. https://github.com/bestpractical/rt/commit/7e756b830c18ac0514fb10ddefa612dae337a9d6 Clearly we can work around this ourselves for our migration, but there are numerous changes in RT 4.4.4 that we would like to see at some point.
