Also, for clarification, the attached file is an example power point file
that was saved with powerpoint included in Microsoft Office Professional
Plus 2016. The text should be duplicated and shifted up. The line near the
top is an empty equation. Usually the text will overlap more, possibly due
to smaller text size.

I also would like to add, that the either kerning of the original text, the
antialiasing, or the clearness gets messed up and so it looks like the
characters cut if they extend out of their cells. Plus when zooming in, it
looks like the original text is more pixelated than the duplicate text. If
one saves the powerpoint viewed in Impress, the duplicated text will remain
when viewed in Microsoft Powerpoint and the original text also looks
blurry/jagged like when viewed in Impress.
