I bisected the commits between 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 and found that reverting the following commit allows the build to succeed on ppc64el: ccall: report static compile-time load issues correctly (#34062) [1] However, even in previous "successful" builds on ppc64el [2], I see tests aborted and LLVM ERROR. I think removal of the ppc64el binary is the way to go.
