Hi, this bug has been sitting idle for a long time.
doxygen-latex is a pure dependency package. It installs pretty much nothing, it just pulls in the right dependencies, among them is doxygen itself, which it makes sure is on par or more recent than its own version. So it is similar to python3.7 or python3.8. Its build dependencies can choose to request a specific version like this: doxygen-latex (=1.8.15). Of the 66 packages that mention doxygen-latex in debian/control that I could find: https://codesearch.debian.net/search?q=path%3Adebian%2Fcontrol+doxygen-latex only avr-libc versions it: doxygen-latex (>=1.8.7). Currently doxygen builds fine on most archs: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=doxygen Can you name a case where doxygen-latex has caused trouble recently ?
