Hi, This bug is fixed in the new upstream version of Mirage (0.10.0), which I plan on getting uploaded to the Debian archives soon, however, the command you are providing will still not work: you need to use LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 or LANGUAGE=de rather than LANG=DE. For more information, see [1] and [2].
