Followup-For: Bug #283637
Package: coreutils
Version: 5.2.1-2
Hello,
Here is a one-line patch to fix the registration of the coreutils info file:
--- rules.orig 2005-02-22 19:11:24.000000000 +0100
+++ rules 2005-02-22 19:05:30.000000000 +0100

#something wacky's going on with the info docs
rm -f $(d)/usr/share/info/dir*
ls $(d)/usr/share/info
+ dh_installinfo $(BUILD_TREE)/doc/coreutils.info
dh_installman -a
ifeq (,$(findstring nostrip,$(DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS)))
I don't fully understand why it was broken at the first place on Sarge
and not on Woody, maybe some debhelper tricks, so there may be another
cleaner solution. But so far it seems to do the job to me.
Greetings,
Fred
