Package: drbd-utils Version: 9.5.0-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
drbd-utils are not working with an kernel >5.3.x making it impossible to use DRBD at all. * What led up to the situation? Upgrade to linux 5.4.44-2 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Installed the new kernel, rebooted, drbd didn't start anymore. Downgrading to stock kernel => drbd is working again. The same issue seems to be fixed in Ubuntu already: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/drbd-utils/+bug/1866458 -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.4.44-2-pve (SMP w/32 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages drbd-utils depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.56+nmu1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libstdc++6 8.3.0-6 ii lsb-base 10.2019051400 ii perl 5.28.1-6 Versions of packages drbd-utils recommends: ii mailutils [mailx] 1:3.5-3 Versions of packages drbd-utils suggests: pn heartbeat <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/drbd.conf changed [not included] /etc/drbd.d/global_common.conf changed [not included] -- no debconf information
