Package: kali-themes Version: 2020.3.0 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: miku...@twibright.com
Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I upgraded the kali rolling distro. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I ran apt upgrade. * What was the outcome of this action? The package kali-themes failed because it tried to create a symlink in the /boot/grub/themes/kali directory. On my system (Samsung ARM chromebook), /boot has VFAT filesystem, that can't hold symlinks. * What outcome did you expect instead? The package should not attempt to create symlinks in /boot. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Distributor ID: Kali Description: Kali GNU/Linux Rolling Release: 2020.2 Codename: kali-rolling Architecture: armv7l Kernel: Linux 3.8.11 (SMP w/2 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP Locale: LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=cs_CZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages kali-themes depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.36.0-1 ii fonts-cantarell 0.111-2 ii fonts-firacode 5.2+dfsg1-2 ii gtk2-engines-murrine 0.98.2-3 ii kali-themes-common 2020.3.0 ii plymouth-label 0.9.4-3 ii sensible-utils 0.0.12+nmu1 kali-themes recommends no packages. kali-themes suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/xdg/xfce4/terminal/terminalrc changed [not included] -- no debconf information
