Hi, Barak. I have been assuming that you are already subscribed to get updates from patch and bug discussions on https://sourceforge.net/djvu/ , but, just in case, I want to update you on the status that tiff2pdf.c bug that we discussed. Leon Bottou made what I infer is a better fix, where, instead of skipping all of the start-of-image tokens, the first start-of-image token is copied, and the rest are skipped. He merged his change into the public git repository of djvulibre, and, with that version, I have not been able to reproduce the problem. I am sorry it did not occur to me earlier, but, a few minutes ago, I posted a message there proposing to submit his change upstream to libtiff. The whole discussion is at https://sourceforge.net/p/djvu/patches/41/ .
By the way, I am also sorry for not responding to your last message about moving tiff2pdf.c functionality into a library. Yes, I agree that that would be better and would avoid the need to maintains copies of the code in packages like djvulibre that want to use the functionality of tiff2pdf as a library. Thanks for your help and guidance in getting this problem fixed. Adam On Mon, Jun 15, 2020 at 6:18 AM Barak A.
