Upstream gnucash released a new stable version, 4.0 [1]. Among the new features, the "type-ahead search" would be very welcome. Could you update it in Debian, please? :) If you need help, just let me know. I could submit a merge request at Salsa if you would like that, although I think it would be a little weird because gbp will update three different branches.
