The version of gettext in sid is very old, and has a lot of issues affecting
security and reproducibility.
Please update Debian's gettext to version 0.21 --- or at the very least to 0.20 
which has
been released since over a year.
A very large number of packages depend upon gettext to this is quite pressing.
