Package: libdevel-cover-perl Version: 0.55-1 Severity: minor Hi,
I was just wondering, why the coverage database cover_db and the subfolder cover_db/runs have permission 777 set, when they are created by the Devel::Cover module. I read through the code and found two positions, where it was written, that this was a bugfix for perl 5.6.1. Quote: "Nasty hack to keep 5.6.1 happy.". Now, that this package depends on perlapi-5.8.7 and perl (>= 5.8.7-10), can we remove that old bugfix to have nice and secure directory permissions ?
