Package: dgit Version: 9.12 Severity: wishlist src:emacs and src:emacs-non-dfsg are maintained as separate branches in the same git repo.
dgit could support this with a mode which - implicit sets --no-dep14tag - doesn't save the archive/ tag to the local repo, only pushing it to dgit-repos. The reason for both of these is that these two tags created by dgit are not qualified by source package name. -- Sean Whitton
