Package: mozilla-mplayer Version: 3.25-1 Severity: important Recently the plugin stopped working with Epiphany. I think that this coincided with the last update to libxul but I'm not sure.
With version 3.21-3, the plugin appeared in about:plugins but when navigating to a file that it should support, instead only a blank page loaded. When I went to web pages containing movies, the movie object did not even appear on the page, it was as if the EMBED/OBJECT element was not even in the page's HTML. With version 3.25-1, the plugin does not even appear in about:plugins. There are no messages from Epiphany about why the plugin couldn't be loaded as there were with the older version if mozilla was not installed.
