Package: tightvncserver Version: 1.2.9-9 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hello The newest dist-upgrade removes tightvncserver because of its dependency on xserver-common which itself became replaced by the new xserver-xorg package. So it is not installable any more on an up-to-date Sid. Temporary workaround: do not install the 1:7.0.10 version of xserver-xorg package regards Tibor -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages tightvncserver depends on: ii dpkg 1.13.18 package maintenance system for Deb ii libc6 2.3.6-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libjpeg62 6b-12 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 1:1.0.0-3 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii perl 5.8.8-4 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii vnc-common 3.3.7-8 Virtual network computing server s ii xbase-clients 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 miscellaneous X clients ii xserver-common 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 files and utilities common to all ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-11 compression library - runtime Versions of packages tightvncserver recommends: ii xfonts-base 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 standard fonts for X -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
