Oh, that's a regression in dpkg-source 1.20.0, I've fixed this now
locally and will be included in the next release. In addition to the
wrong file copy error on missing orig tarballs.

Does that fix include an option (and/or lintianrc setting) for
specifying a directory for orig tarballs?
For me, I'd set it as "lintian -t.." to use the directory above.
Felix indicated he might have had a patch in mind for that in
message#103.
