i rebooted my sid today and noticed that my cifs mounts from fstab not came up. dmesg indicates " Unknown mount option "symfollow" ". manually mounting them (sudo mount.cifs //mount /point -o opts) did the trick. nevertheless to note that it's the first time this happened.
