(And low levels of xz beat gzip in every of cspeed/dspeed/ratio, too, it's just not the top part where xz shines.) Or alternatively, perhaps I could bother gzip maintainer (gzip's binary is the only Essential one among FOOgrep) to replace that script with the universal xz-utils one?
