First of all, imapfilter should be considered as a per-user service. So installing a ppp hook at system level is quite pointless, because that should solve only a very specific use case (personal workstation with dial out connections). The best thing to do is probably providing an hook example
in documentation. Nowdays most of the box use wifi with network manager for mobile connections, so the best thing to do for most of the users is adding a personal unit service for systemd probably, because the good old days of pon/poff are gone. Again, even in this case it would be nice adding a systemd unit example for personal use, because that would not be the right thing to use in all use cases. -cheers -- Francesco P. Lovergine
