I think you misunderstood something (or maybe it is me :)). It is true, that radare2 has been removed from Debian stable. It has not been removed from Debian, though. In fact I uploaded version 5.0 to unstable yesterday and it got accepted by an FTP master today. But I do plan to keep #950372 open, so that r2 will not transition to testing/stable anymore.
