This isn't a code bug, but a limitation of a proprietary service, which we have no influence over. Given Evolution can be used with other services and not just Gmail, it's certainly not gravely broken. Either upstream will request higher limits, or affected users could try the workarounds suggested in the upstream issue tracker.
