Package: debhelper Version: 13.3.3 Hi,
If you see src:eclipse-titan/7.2.0-1, d/rules has an extra call to
`strip` because dh_strip fails to identify those .a files as static
libraries.
Indeed, running `file` on them just reports, for example:
mattia@warren ..der/result/sid/amd64/foo/usr/lib/titan % file
libttcn3-rt2-parallel.a
libttcn3-rt2-parallel.a: current ar archive
I wonder if debhelper could do more to identify them, or if this should
be reassigned to src:file.
