close 767105 0.14.0-1 thanks Hi,
here are a few thoughts/notes.. first, the original problem per se doesn't exist anymore, and adding the local unprivileged user to a group isn't something we should or could do in the packaging (it's left for the local admin to do so, and adding a debconf question for that doesn't make much sense). then, the newer gnunet versions have moved to start and manage things with systemd user services, which is great. this however needs more documentation in the packaging and more thoughts on making this as painless as possible while still being policy compliant. for that, upstream has made a few things on top of the debian packaging but they need to be adjusted for policy compliance. so, while closing this bug, the 0.14.x packages will get this, in a different way/different reasons etc., implemented in the next couple of weeks. Regards, Daniel
