Package: pipewire Version: 0.3.19-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
With pipewire 0.3.19-4, if the rtkit package is not installed, `systemctl --user status pipewire.service` includes: pipewire[1455]: could not set nice-level to -11: No such file or directory pipewire[1455]: could not make thread realtime: No such file or directory pipewire-media-session[1473]: could not set nice-level to -11: No such file or directory pipewire-media-session[1473]: could not make thread realtime: No such file or directory After installing rtkit these messages disappear. Presumably this also avoids potential issues (glitches, etc.) under load, although I did not observe any. Perhaps it would make sense to add rtkit to Recommends for pipewire, as done by pulseaudio?
