Hi, After comparing the failing upgrade with other, working installations of 'nginx-full' and following the precedence rationale here [1], I was able to resolve the installation impasse by running the following command in /etc/nginx/modules-enabled:
ln -s /usr/share/nginx/modules-available/mod-stream.conf 50-mod-stream.conf
