I ran into the same error when upgrading from 2.02+dfsg1-20+deb10u3 to 2.02+dfsg1-20+deb10u4 in Buster. The /boot/grub/i386-pc/core.img file in 2.02+dfsg1-20+deb10u3 is 31084 bytes, and while I do no longer have the byte size for 2.02+dfsg1-20+deb10u4 around, it vas close to the same number and 32 blocks according to ls -s. I use RAID for / and ZFS on other file systems on the machine in question. 62 blocks are unused at the start of the disk. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
