So the problem is the Flash plugin, which is not supported upstream nor distributed by Debian anymore. While it was not my intention to make its use more difficult, I wonder if the change is not a bad thing. After all, users who really want to use it can simply add back the x-shockwave-flash media type in `/etc/mime.types` and solve the problem locally. In any case, I think that it would be too late to revert the change in the package before the release. I may consider to request a Stable update if other users support your point of view, but at the moment I think that I will simply leave the situation as it is.
