As a user, I don't even know about all the stuff that could be better; pitivi worked ok for me as an amateur video editor. It just failed at the end of the process, rendering the video. So from my PoV, the version in bullseye is fine once this is fixed. Of course the latest and greatest if always better, but that's incompatible with a stable release. We just have to cut it at some point.
