Package: hexer Version: 1.0.6-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: phil...@marek.priv.at
When doing a visual selection in a file and trying to write it to disk (via pressing ":" (this inserts the range) and then " w /tmp/file"), the whole source file is written with a name of "/tmp/file<range>", eg as "/tmp/font.ttf0x16a76,0x1b0b5". Furthermore, with the cursor on the last byte "x" in normal mode doesn't delete the byte; similarly, a visual range including the last byte doesn't accept "x" to delete this range. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_AT:de Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages hexer depends on: ii libc6 2.31-9 ii libtinfo6 6.2+20201114-2 hexer recommends no packages. hexer suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
