The Debian TreeLine package is broken. Older versions of TreeLine are not compatible with Python 3.9. An upgrade to TreeLine 3.1.4 is required to work with Python 3.9. I recommend that users install from source, available on <http://treeline.bellz.org>. It's not difficult to install. -Doug
