Package: pipewire-audio-client-libraries Version: 0.3.24-3 Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer, The PulseAudio replacement server is already part of the pipewire-bin packages with the systemd example files in the pipewire one. Maybe one of them could also provide a README.Debian file that addresses its configuration, then cites the affiliate to ALSA and JACK using the pipewire- audio-client-library. Because currently a README.Debian file is provided by pipewire-audio-client-libraries with a symlink as examples/README.audio. In addition the last paragraph of its package description is: This package contains client libraries allowing programs designed for the ALSA, JACK and PulseAudio APIs to use a PipeWire server for audio playback and recording. They are not used by default, and are currently considered to be experimental. I suggest to change it to: This package contains client libraries allowing programs designed for the ALSA and JACK APIs to use a PipeWire server for audio playback and recording. They are not used by default, and are currently considered to be experimental.
