Dear Maintainer, Restricting permissions on /etc/pam.d to 0700 while the folder is owned by `root:root` leads to xscreensaver, mate-screensaver and others being unable to authenticate a user. Perhaps worth adding a warning or making this optional? Thank you. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
