This is already committed since a long time IIRC!? > combined with updates to upstream localisation. Localisation and translation belongs together :-) The real localisation patch you are talking about was the change of one or two lines, not more! The remaining was either found later or was only noticed by me without considering this as a bug (only remarks) and it's OK for me to just add a TODO or FIXME in the code. But I agree that the current state of the bug (which one?) is hard to follow. I have not seen to necessity of separate bug reports at the beginning but will be more carefully in the future. > This makes the bug report hard to deal with because some parts of the > changes may need the developer's attention while other (the update of > German translation) doesn't. OK, the update of the German translation doesn't require developer's attention (but Daniel still needs to commit it and just applying a patch is not much more work (my PO file patches always work out of the box :-)). But what about the inconsistent use of full stops? Checking suspected typos, ... Does this require developer's attention? No, but nevertheless it was ignored ... > For that reason, I clone this bug in two separate bugs and I'll attach > the needed diff to each of them. > > Ruben, I think you'll be able to apply the german translation patch > while we leave to Daniel the part that deals with the code. I needed some time to resolve my conflicts in the darcs repository (I didn't know about "darcs record" at the beginning and resolving was hard). Nevertheless I sent Daniel a few complementary fixes (together with a really minor translation update which just fixes approximately 4 fuzzy strings). No patch (excepts the de.po one) is larger than a few lines. So you see I did not forget about the bug report and I also suggested Daniel to reread it again, to mark it pending and to forget about it ...
