Feel free to join the packaging team to push those changes > yourself or alternatively report those issues as bug reports. It was rather by chance that I recognized this. As one of the main developers of the DCMTK I do not use the Debian packages (but compile the source code on my own on my Linux machine). But of course, we (as the DCMTK team) are very interested that the official Debian package is up to date and works as expected. By the way, I was thinking of reporting a new issue to this package but after reading the documentation [1] I found it easier to reply to the existing bug entry. I hope you didn't mind. [1] https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting Having a link on the webpage of the Debian package that creates a mail template (e.g. via "mailto:") would be really nice and certainly facilitate bug reporting for "beginners", I guess.
