I've tested that a usb-c dock works (for the most part) with this patch applied, so that's pretty exciting. Charging also worked, though not necessarily when using the dock... though sometimes. I have the impression the orientation of the usb-c connector *should not* matter, but after flipping it all the usb-3 devices and ports on the dock consistently started working... > [ 8.656555] OF: graph: no port node found in /i2c@ff3d0000/fusb30x@22 I didn't notice this in the logs, but didn't check... will look at next boot. > (This may be related to this patch to the DTD: > > https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux-rockchip/patch/20200924063042.41545-1-...@endlessos.org/ > which made the monitor work, or possibly another missing driver.) I did get audio out working via the audio jack after fiddling haphazardly with the dozens of audio control sliders, but was unable to get the microphone to work. I think I had to unmute the left and right headphone mux or something. I got some sign that the speakers were enabled when muting or unmuting (a little pop sound each time), but no working audio. > So this is clearly an improvement (especially the battery gauge), but not > a complete solution. Agreed! Thanks for pointing us to enabling these features! live well, vagrant
