Package: gwenview Version: 1.3.1-2 Severity: normal Gwenview is unusably slow on my 512Mb/1GHz lightly loaded laptop. I have no idea why. I asked it to view a directory of 100 pictures. It loads and displays thumbnails fast, but every time I move from one picture to the next, it displays it and then spends 30s or so computing. Indeed, I don't even have to display the picture: I can close the display pane and merely select a picture in the thumbnail view to get this huge pause. If I only look at 10 pictures the pause goes away. Looks like a performance bug, therefore (there's no need to do something with each of 100 pictures every time I look at a new one).
