Dear Maintainer, as pointed out in an other issue, there exists an important upstream release for this package. From the 3.38.1 NEWS file: Fix recording is lost when using space bar in name input Fix ui becomes unusable and recording is lost after stopping a record Remove m4a option since using it results in unusable recordings At least the first two are regressions compare to current stable version. All three imply data loss.
