Hi, Following up my request, I have subsequently discovered that using these scripts to bring up an interface on a udev event is not reliable since its liable to result in multiple ifup's running in parallel, and this seems to be disallowed. So unless this restriction is lifted, it does not seem useful to include these scripts.
