Dear Maintainer, with the upgrade from Buster to Bullseye the Security Archive Layout changed as mentioned here in the release notes: https://www.debian.org/releases/bullseye/amd64/release-notes/ch-information.en.html#security-archive When using the URL specified there (deb.debian.org) the checkbox for receiving security updates is not checked in the GUI and when checking it another line containing security.debian.org ... is added to sources.list. As both URLs work and deb.debian.org seems to be the recommended official one I would expect both URLs to be recognized as valid URLs for security updates!? -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages software-properties-gtk depends on: ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.24.24-4 ii python3 3.9.2-3 ii python3-gi 3.38.0-2 ii python3-software-properties 0.96.20.2-2.1 ii software-properties-common 0.96.20.2-2.1 software-properties-gtk recommends no packages.
