Package: gnome-screenshot Version: 3.38.0-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: j...@freeshell.org
Dear Maintainer, After upgrading to Debian 11, gnome-screenshot could not capture an entire 3840x2160 screen with Capture Area -> Screen. Only the upper left 1920x1080 pixels were captured correctly with the remaining pixels black. Version 40.0-1 from the testing distribution yielded the same result. Installing the old version 3.30.0-2 from Debian 10 on the upgraded system allowed the entire 3840x2160 screen to be captured again. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-screenshot depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.38.0-2 ii libc6 2.31-13 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-5 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.30-7 ii libcanberra0 0.30-7 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.40.2-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.8-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.24-4 ii libhandy-1-0 1.0.3-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.7.2-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1.1 gnome-screenshot recommends no packages. gnome-screenshot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
