That sounds like a unfortunate combination to me but nothing one can do against. If the breeze_dark icons assume (btw, in your subject you say "tool menu", so you definitely mean "tool bar", I literally read it as "menu", that's why I did the second screenshot...) a black background and do the icons in the color which is used by adwaita in the background, what can/should one do? Just set both to breeze_dark? (or at least dark for the general UI)? No one is saying any combination makes sense. If you have a black paper, you also wouldn't complain to someone that you can't actually read stuff you write witha black pen? Or light yellow on white? Or ... Regards, Rene
