Hi, I had a look at this today and found that this is a known and expected change as it is part of a set of deprecations scheduled for removal in 2018 [1]. The page holds hints how to replace this, but actually upstream has already a commit that fixes the problem [2].
Would be great to add that or just rebase to a newer git snapshot that includes this.
